Spring Landscaping

The landscaped flowers are in bloom!

The gusty winds from earlier in the week have subsided
and the cooler temperatures are giving way
to the warming rays of spring.

Today was finally a beautiful and perfect day
to be photographed among the flowers.

The roses are beautiful and smell just a sweet as they look!

I don't know the name of this amazing purple flower,
but it had a lot of bees around it!

The shadow over this flowering bush is the flag on the flagpole.
Do you see it?

Pansies seem to be a hardy enough flower to survive in New Mexico.

The trees are almost fully green again.

I found a great place with a view of the city.

Did I mention that it was windy earlier this week?
Gusty winds bring blowing dust,
which creates less than clear skies and poor air quality.
The bosque (forest along the Rio Grande) is green,
but the sky is still hazy.

Before I went inside,
I found a pigeon feather in the grass.
Are they good luck?

I am looking forward to more days spent outdoors
for spring and summer.
